Time to knit and go...

I am forever going out of town. I've been at home for four days, and off I go again tomorrow. My husband is trail help for the Inks Lake Jeep Jamboree in Texas. He's already there. I decided I'd go late.

I hope to get a lot done on Project Spectrum. I am knitting The Best Friend Jacket from Sally Melville's series: The Knitting Experience. I am using Cascade Pastaza, which I love. This is my second project to knit from this yarn. I frogged my last sweater and am reknitting it. The yarn is too nice to knit a mediocre project. I bought it last year from Kaleidoscope Yarns as part of a fundraiser for the Tsumani. If I remember correctly, 75% of sales that day went to the Red Cross.

I'll be out of range for a few days. Talk to you later!

Have fun at your Jamboree!!

Guess what I got? A super cool package with burgundy alpaca yarn, a book by Tony Hillerman (who I love) chocolate, fancy coffee and a Southwest bookmark! Guess who my Mystery Pal was? The first 3 don't count.

I love it! (all of it!) I'm posing it in my office now (much to the puzzlement of the CPA client's next door) soon to be posted on my blog.

Thank you! I can't believe how perfect it is.
