I joined a KAL for knintters who sew--sometimes: Sew? I knit! I hope this will motivate me to use my Bernina a little more often. Plus, I am not able to follow through with sewing projects as well as knitting ones. A little outside motivation always helps. I can't wait to see everyone's skirts.
I am sewing a straight skirt out of a leopard print cotton.
I've been working on this skirt today. I am not able to start my knitting olympics project because I am still waiting for three balls of yarn to arrive in the mail. I expect they will get here at the beginning of this week, but if they don't I probably won't get my gold medal. This delay makes my project a little more challenging!

Ooo that is going to be a great skirt! I was going to sew along with the group too but it took me so long to make my tote I probably would not finish the skirt until next March...

Oooh Love the fabric! That is going to be a great skirt. I love to sew and make costumes for the high school too! ...and dang there you go again with another cool KAL to check out, oh well I guess the one with the most projects going never dies! Right? :) I hope your yarn comes soon, good luck in the olympics! I am rooting for you.
