Home on the Range--Amazing Lace Challenge #2

In true Texas cowgirl style, extreme lace knitting involves two hard weeks of hiking, riding, fishing, and soaking up the sun in Big Sky Country! Along the way, Jenni and her knitting encounter grizzly bears, a black bear, bison, a moose, pronghorns, eagles, a river otter, and too many elk to mention. Both are travelling home safely. (I know this is really late!! Real adventure doesn't promise an Internet connection.) Posted by Picasa

Love the cowboy hat and the field knitting!

Real vacations sometimes have to be blogged about afterwards.

Bears?

That is the best vacation knitting picture I've seen! Magazine and book material! :)

I love the picture...a magazine shot if I ever saw one.

Jenni...you are one brave cowgirl. Two weeks of lace knitting in the Big Sky Country...actually, now that I think of it, I wouldn't be so scared but more mad if a bear spooked me and made me mess up my counting on a row of lace. LOL Never mess with a knitter when they are doing lace...with two legs or four...it could make a knitter very, very angry. :)

Best wishes,
Sherrill
