Stash Sunday!

I am going to make it one month! This is my fourth week in the Stash-a-long. I am starting to get the hang of the stash busting thing now. I've made a cupcake from my stash and am working on The Labyrinth Rug from One Skein! I am able to use all the bits and pieces of worsted wool that I have laying around: 2 feet down and 16 more to go!

Now that I am starting the fifth week, I have to change my rules just a bit. I am going to need to order 2 skeins of undyed merino from Knit Picks for the Dye-o-rama. I need one to practice on (I am a beginning dyer) and one to mail off for the exchange. The one for practice will be used to finish a WIP, so it really doesn't break my previous rules. Also, I may need to order some yarn for the Estes Park Wool Market class that I will be attending. I will try to use what I have, but if I don't have it, I may have to make a purchase.

So there are my rules for the next four weeks!

That Wool market sounds like fun! And those [llamas, alpacas, cute animals] are cute. So how long does the Stash-a-long last? Until your stash is gone? Or you can't take it anymore? Your rules sound reasonable and practical.

That is the second rug I have seen being made from that book I will have to go check it now. It looks like a great way to use up those little balls of wool.

P.S. I love your cupcake too!
