I have been working on my Best Friend Jacket--getting near but, hopelessly, never reaching the end. Here is a pic of my progress so far, just a tad bit more than last week.
I have also been working on my spiral bag. Again, I am so close yet so far from being finished. I think I am running out of yarn. I might have to do something else for the tie. I don't seem to have enough yarn for the I-cord.
My next stash project--as soon as I finish one of the above-- is going to be to use up some Svale that I bought two years ago. I knitted several half sweaters that never did work. I either got bored, or there wasn't enough yarn. I am going to knit this bandeau sweater from Interweave Knits, Winter 2005. I have really enjoyed knitting cables lately and I thought this would be fun. I have 7 skeins so I think it should be enough--let's hope.

That top is really pretty! I'd think 7 skeins would be enough. Hopefully.
I made the Best Friend jacket a couple of years ago. I used a much too bulky yarn and it's not very flattering on, but it's a nice around the house sweater. It was one of my first projects, so I have a sentimental attachment to it.
I love your blog! The sweater is coming along - you're almost there :-) The bag is adorable and I think that bandeau top will be stunning.
