One Skein Swap

Here are the two fabulous skeins of Plymouth bamboo yarn that I received from my One Skein Swap pal. I love them. They are so shiney and smooth. I am going to use them to crochet the Racing Scarf from the latest issue of Crochet Knits. My Isis Wrap for the Amaziing Race is not going well. I thought I made a lot of progress today. I bound off the ride front side and then found that it was too small and doesn't match up with the back. There are so many wierd increases done all at the same them, not to mention keeping track of the lace pattern and working it into the increases. I missed something somewhere...or there is a major mistake in the pattern (which is usually not the case). Either way, I am going to have to frog everything I knit today--YUCK! This is very silly--but you may have noticed that Gretchen the Bun has a liveJournal. You can visit it at Gretchen's Live Journal (Creative title isn't it?_ Posted by Picasa

That yarn looks de-lushious! I've been really wanting to try that yarn.

What beautiful yarn! I will have to go check out Gretchen's place.

So sorry your Isis is not going well, but I am sure you will get it soon.

Lovely yarn.

Pity about the Isis wrap. There could be an error in the pattern!

Love Gretchen's journal! She is so funny. I also bought 2 balls of the same yarn in a variegated blue/green colorway. Now I really want to use it up! Sorry about the wrap. I had problems with the yarn I used for my AL lace-up camisole. I finally found a yarn substitute, and am slowly working my way back.

Bad Isis wrap! Bad!

It's always the pattern's fault, Jenni. Maybe not the designer, but the pattern.

Off to check out Gretchen's blog.....

Just stopping by for a pit stop. Sorry to hear about your Isis shawl. I'll send good thoughts that things will get better soon. The yarn from your swap looks great. I hope you have lots of fun knitting with it.
